Legendary Big Cats of India
Please enquire for price
The world’s last refuge for Asiatic Lions is India’s Gir National Park. With fewer than 500 left, this is one of the world’s most endangered big cats. Then there are the premier Tiger reserves such as Pench and Bandhavgarh. Tours can be as little as a few days to a week or two - all customised to your interests, budget and time. Led by naturalists under the guidance of Wild India's, Bhavesh Rathod, your tour will search for these legendary big cats. A good jeep driver, great guide and all the skills, knowledge and experience to find the right location and the right light will put you in good stead to capture amazing photographs.

Tigers and Lions can be hard to see. Our advice will help you coincide with the best dates and locations for seeing these wild animals.
Naturally the parks are shared with a lot of other wildlife and birds. When we’re not watching big cats, our specially-selected guides and drivers will be searching for all manner of other wildlife - with the chance of also seeing Sloth Bear, Leopard, Striped Hyena and other lesser known wild cats.
As with any nature-based trip, access to specialist local knowledge and someone able to spot wildlife that we’d otherwise drive past (incidentally, very easy to do with Tigers and Lions) is a must. Being able to do this in a small safari vehicle means plenty of space to be comfortable and use cameras.
So while we will also share the park with other visitors, it’s going to be up to the animals to decide whether they find us and the more time we spend, at the right time, with the right guides, the better the chance we have of a memorable encounter. Remember, no wildlife encounters are ever guaranteed, so it’s really important that the trip is focused on this essential need.
In addition, you will be travelling in the company of people who know the park inside out and with photographers who share your passion for spending quality time in the right places and the type of extraordinary light that casts a perpetual glow over the Indian desert. The trips include jeep safaris, all of which will be done at first light or last light, leaving the quieter periods of the day for reviewing photos and relaxing.
